Junge Karriere: Second Place

In the May 2008 survey carried out by the magazine "Junge Karriere", Bucerius Law School was ranked second in the field of law.

In addition to the fast track, international and practice oriented course of legal studies at Bucerius Law School, the one-year, English-language "Master of Law and Business" program, jointly offered by Bucerius and the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, was of particular interest to the human resource managers. Bucerius Law School graduates by far exceed the average results normally achieved in Germany for the First State Examination.

The ranking is based on a survey done by the magazine "Junge Karriere" and the employment agency "Access" in cooperation with the service and research company "Universum." They surveyed 5,000 human resource managers from all fields. The main focus of the survey was to pinpoint the universities with the best graduates in their given fields. Secondarily, the survey evaluated the new bachelor and master degree programs.

Professional experience is becoming increasingly more "important in order to get the best candidates for the university", and that is why "Forschung & Lehre" developed this ranking. 130 universities were interviewed, six of these were private and eleven areas were looked into and evaluated.
