Bucerius students reported being very satisfied with their studies and the support that they receive from instructors. The small Hamburg-based institution also ranked at the top of the list in the categories “Doctorate Productivity” (Promotionen) and “Research Funding” (Forschungsgelder).
No other university in the ranking achieved such high marks in the field of Law. Bucerius Law School is thus the top-ranked legal faculty in Germany. The university has held this position since its initial inclusion the CHE Ranking in 2008.
CHE is considered the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world. In conducting its annual review, the Center has examined more than 130 universities and 150 universities of applied science in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In addition to analyzing facts and figures about studies, teaching and research, the ranking takes into consideration student evaluations of the academic environment and conditions for study at their university.
