Ideal conditions for a carefree study experience

Its modern facilities and its premium student services make Bucerius Law School a one-stop-shop for any international student. This means you are free to enjoy what you really came here for: a successful and fulfilling study experience and an inspiring time abroad.

Modern facilities with 24-hour access

The Hengeler Mueller Library is open exclusively for students of Bucerius Law School. It is open 24/7 and provides choice selection of books, online publications and databases.

Project group rooms

As you will sometimes be asked to get together in smaller groups to work on an assignment or project, in addition to the lecture halls and classrooms, there are 20 small study rooms available for groups of up to five students.

A good place to be - even after working hours

Cafeteria & Coffee Lounge

Even during intense study sessions you will always be well-fed! The campus cafeteria, also known as the Food Court or by its German name "Mensa", is open on weekdays between 11:30 am and 2 pm and offers four hot main courses (at least of one them vegetarian), a salad bar as well as several side dishes and desserts.

For breakfast, a snack or a coffee break in between classes, most students retreat to the cosy, newly refurbished Coffee Lounge. On weekdays the Coffee Lounge is open between 8 am and 7 pm and on Saturdays between 10 am and 2 pm. Tuesday through Thursday, the Coffee Lounge turns into the campus bar between 7 pm and 11 pm.

Both the Cafeteria and the Coffee Lounge are catered by the Studierendenwerk Hamburg. Curious what's for lunch this week? See this week's menu...

Fitness room

The so-called "Gleiss Lutz Gym" is the Bucerius' very own fitness room. Located underneath the Auditorium, the gym is available to all students for a one-time membership fee of EUR 50. The gym is open every day between 6:00 and 24:00. Shower facilities are also available.

Music room

A campus without music? No way. You will find many musical classmates at Bucerius Law School, which is why a rehearsal room has been set up in the basement of the South Wing. This is the place where the school's orchestra, big band, choir and acapella group meet to rehearse, but it is also available for solo musicians longing for a musical intermezzo between library sessions and lectures. The music room is equipped with lockers, in which you can store your instrument.
