The newly founded Network for Artificial Intelligence and Law (NAIL) invites you to its first event. We are extremely pleased to welcome Ms Irina Orssich, Head of the AI Policy Section at the European Commission, will give a presentation on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence. Dr Wolfgang Hildesheim, IBM, Head of Watson, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence DACH, will comment, giving us his practical perspective. The event will be held in English.

Afterwards, we would like to invite you to celebrate the founding of  NAIL at a reception in the South Lounge (Südlounge) of the Bucerius Law School.

About NAIL:
The Hamburg Network for AI & Law (NAIL) is a cooperation between Professor Christoph Kumpan (Bucerius Law School) and Professor Georg Ringe (University of Hamburg). The network provides a platform for academic exchange and joint research projects in the field of AI and law. At the same time, the network facilitates dialogue and engagement with the broader public. About once a month, NAIL hosts a lecture event with leading scientists, policy makers and industry experts. This seminar series is kindly supported by the Zeit-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius.
