The Bucerius Alumni Group “Public International and European Law“ cordially invites you to a talk with the Secretary-General of the Jerusalem Arbitration Centre, Ms. Nadia Darwazeh.
The Jerusalem Arbitration Center, backed by the International Chamber of Commerce, was launched on 18 November 2013. It was created as a neutral and efficient forum for dispute resolution between Israeli and Palestinian business actors. The underlying idea for the project is in line with that developed by the French philosopher Montesquieu, namely that the development of trade leads to peace.
The cornerstones of the Center are neutrality, efficiency, and modernity. As a result, the Jerusalem Arbitration Center has emerged as a unique institution that is classical yet avant-garde – the first of its kind in a conflict zone.
We are grateful that Ms. Nadia Darwazeh, Secretary-General of the Jerusalem Arbitration Centre and Counsel with Curtis Mallet‐Prevost, Colt and Mosle LLP in Paris, has kindly agreed to be our speaker.
The talk will be followed by a reception with “Pretzels & Wine”.
