Business Excellence Scholarship

For Outstanding Business Practitioners

The Business Excellence Scholarship is a merit based scholarship for young professionals with proven success in a business capacity or for professionals with outstanding academic results in a business-related degree.

One of the key principles of the Bucerius Master of Law and Business Program is bringing young professionals from different academic and professional fields together to encourage learning from and with each other.

The scholarship is designed to promote and encourage such an interdisciplinary setting.

Bucerius Business Scholarship — Different perspectives make for an enriching learning experience in the Bucerius Master of Law and Business.

Eligibility Criteria

The Business Excellence Scholarship is for young professionals with proven success in a business capacity or for professionals with outstanding academic results in a business-related degree.

Scope of the Scholarship

The Business Excellence Scholarship offers €12,500 in financial support to assist with tuition fees.

Application and Selection Process

Applicants who would like to be considered for the Bucerius Business Excellence Scholarships should submit the following:

The application deadline for the Bucerius Business Excellence Scholarship is January 15.

Independent selection

The Bucerius Global Scholars will be chosen by a distinguished committee of Bucerius faculty, administration and alumni

Applicants who are not selected for the Bucerius Business Excellence Scholarships will automatically be considered for partial funding.

Cooperation between two leading private universities

Combining their expertise in law and business

The Bucerius Master of Law and Business (MLB/LL.M.) is offered in cooperation by two of the leading private universities in Germany: Bucerius Law School and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

It is a one-year program which prepares young professionals for international careers in which an understanding of both legal and business concepts as well as intercultural skills are essential. Its goal is to build bridges – between disciplines and across cultures.

The program takes place on the campus of Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Bucerius Law School is the first private law school and Germany and ranks at the top of the national CHE-Ranking.

The business course content of the modules is expertly selected from a typical MBA. Many classes are delivered by flying faculty joining us on campus from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management or other experts in business studies.
