Bucerius Global Scholarship
For Talented Young Professionals
The Bucerius Global Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship for talented young professionals who seek to apply for the Master of Law and Business (MLB/LLM) Program at Bucerius Law School.
In addition to covering the tuition fees for the one-year program, the scholarship includes a partial stipend for living expenses.
Selection Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for this scholarship should:
- Satisfy the admission requirements of the Master of Law and Business program
- Have a record of excellent academic performance
- Clearly explain why they are seeking this scholarship
Applicants who are not selected for the Bucerius Global Scholarships will automatically be considered for other forms of funding.
Scope of the Bucerius Global Scholarship
The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee for the Master of Law & Business in the value of EUR 25,000.
In addition to covering the tution fees, the scholarship includes a partial stipend for living expenses of at least EUR 300 per month.
The Bucerius Global Scholarship can be combined with any other scholarships with exception of the Deutschland-Stipendium (Germany Scholarship).

Application Process
1. Complete your application for the Master of Law and Business Program
Set up an account in the Application Portal for the Bucerius Master of Law and Business and submit your application by 15 January.
2. Submit your scholarship motivation letter
Please complete the Scholarship Application Form and upload your motivation letter (approx. 1000 words) communicating your goals, aspirations, qualifications, and the reasons why you are seeking this scholarship by 15 January.
Selection Process
The Bucerius Global Scholars will be chosen by an independent selection committee made up of
- Bucerius Faculty,
- Administrative staff,
- Bucerius alumni, and
- Representatives of the Foundation who provides the funding for the Global Scholarships
Decisions regarding the Bucerius Global Scholarships will be announced around the end of February.
Applicants who are not selected for the Bucerius Global Scholarships will automatically be considered for other forms of funding.

Attracting brilliant young professionals from around the globe
The Bucerius Master of Law and Business (MLB/LL.M.) is a one-year program which prepares young professionals for international careers in which an understanding of both legal and business concepts as well as intercultural skills are essential. Its goal is to build bridges – between disciplines and across cultures.
The program is offered in cooperation by two of the leading private universities in Germany: Bucerius Law School and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
The program takes place on the campus of Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.
The business course content of the modules is expertly selected from a typical MBA. Many classes are delivered by flying faculty joining us on campus from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management or other experts in business studies.
