On December 19th, 2014 the Bucerius International Exchange cohort came together one final time to wrap up their term in Hamburg. The send-off included a light dinner and speeches by both Dr. Hariolf Wenzler and Professor Dr. Anne Röthel. After four months of following courses at Bucerius, the 103 students from across the globe return to their home universities in 25 different countries, some for continued study and others for graduation.
Jeremiah Posedel, a 2006 program alumnus, was back in the classroom this term, albeit in a very different role from that of his previous stay – moving to the opposite side of the podium, the associate from Drinker Biddle’s Chicago office led a course on his area of practice, Information Privacy and Data Security. “As a student, Bucerius provided me with an unparalleled education and extraordinary experiences that contributed significantly to both my professional and personal development. As a lecturer at Bucerius, I was given the opportunity to pass on those things that Bucerius gave me to future lawyers and leaders from around the world. It truly was an honor and a pleasure.”
Whether spent with coursework, bar exam preparation or a transition into the workforce, Bucerius Law School wishes the cohort a happy, healthy and successful 2015 and looks forward to welcoming alumni back to the city at the reunion being held in September 2015.
