Professor Ram Singh, an economist at the Delhi School of Economics, was the first foreign researcher to join Bucerius Law School in the program for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research, working with Hans-Bernd Schäfer, an affiliated professor of law and economics and the director of the program to finalize an article on expropriation rights.
This essay will be published in the Journal of Law and Economics in 2018 under the title "Takings of Land by Self-Interested Governments: Economic Analysis of Eminent Domain Law".
